We are thrilled to introduce a new feature to enhance the mentoring experience for mentors and mentees: "Mentoring Session Types."
Key Features:
Define Multiple Session Types:
- Mentors can now define multiple session types on the settings page, such as "Career Guidance" or other specialized sessions.
Choose from a variety of predefined templates or create your own custom session types to meet specific mentoring needs.
Easy Scheduling for Mentees:
- These session types are now visible when mentees click the "Schedule" button on a mentor's profile page, making selecting the most relevant session type for their needs easier.
Exclusive to Platform Scheduling:
- This feature is exclusive to mentors using our platform’s scheduling feature. Mentors who have chosen "Calendly" as their preferred scheduling mechanism will not have access to the multiple session types functionality.

- Customized Mentoring Experience: By allowing mentors to define various session types, mentees can select sessions that are tailored to their specific goals and needs, resulting in a more personalized mentoring experience.
- Increased Flexibility and Efficiency: Mentors can efficiently manage their time and resources by categorizing sessions, ensuring they provide the right kind of support at the right time.
- Enhanced Mentee Engagement: With clearly defined session types, mentees can better understand what to expect from each session, leading to more productive and engaging interactions.
Streamlined Scheduling Process:
Selecting session types directly from the mentor’s profile page simplifies the scheduling process, saving time and reducing the back-and-forth typically associated with setting up mentoring sessions.
These enhancements will significantly improve the mentoring experience on our platform. We look forward to your feedback and continuous improvement.
For each booking, a mentee needs to write their goal as a message to the mentor. This message now appears in the chat feature and can be answered by the mentor.

Since the beginning we allowed Mentees to post a review for their mentors. The numbers speak for themselves: With an average score of 5.8 / 6.0, the overall satisfaction with mentors remains extremely high. We opened the feedback feature now also for the other direction and allowed mentors to leave feedback for their mentees.
The statistics are online for mentees as well. We also improved the look and feel of the mentee profile and added book recommendations and a feedback section.
Our AI-based chat introduction which introduces a mentor to their mentee after they booked the first session, was disabled because of some changes to the OpenAI API. We fixed this issue.
When users register a new account, they must confirm their email address to ensure their identity is correct. We rebuilt this process for better reliability. If a user does not receive or deletes the confirmation email, they can now resend the email from their account page. Therefore we now allow users to log into their accounts even before confirmation to manage their settings.
We're excited to announce a significant update to our platform - a new sidebar on mentor profile pages, providing valuable insights through key statistics. This addition aims to enhance the mentoring experience and facilitate better pairing of mentors and mentees. Here's what's new:

We fixed a bug in the availability manager that led to some mentors not being able to set up their schedules. The time frames for availabilities are now correctly handled in all cases.
Our members can now join several mentoring programs provided by us or our partners. When a new member registers with us and their email address is on a whitelist for a specific program, or if there are more than one open program available, they can choose which program(s) to join during the registration. On their account page, there is a new section "Programs" to manage their memberships.
